I'm currently exploring the fascination moths have with light.
I had a sketch of a lighthouse that had potential as a lino cut. The iconic shape seemed suited to the lino printing process.
Within the emitted beam of light it draws in numerous flying moths rather than guiding ships away from the rocks.

I don't know whether teaching Year 7 perspective recently has inspired the latest drawings of architectural landmarks of North Yorkshire but the angular precision is quite different from the series of prints on birds.
